Description
Dal makhani is a popular dish originating from North India. In this whole black lentil, split chickpea lentils & red Kidney beans are slowly cooked with subsequently tempering of dal with butter / ghee in variation of spices. This is taken with Roti and rice.
In our recipe, black lentils (Urad), split chickpea lentils (Channa) and red kidney beans (Rajma) are taken in balanced ratio and slowly cooked. This is later tempered with well-adjusted quantity of onion, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chilies, butter and selected spices to give lightly spicy and a soothing taste. Combined with rice or roti, this is a healthy, rich in fiber, calcium and a complete meal for all ages.
