Description
Aamras is a popular mango delicacy from the Western Indian states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. This absolutely delicious Mango Pulp (aamras) is enjoyed for an indulgent summer treat. This is enjoyed with Poori (Indian bread fried) or is sometimes taken as a sweet dish along with meals or after meals. Mangos are rich in folate, which is used for healthy cell division, and also stabilizes digestive system.
In our recipe, we have selected handpicked alphonso mango, these are soaked in water to reduce / remove its heating quality. These are than peeled off with subsequent blending. Some selected herbs are added to give a smooth and soothing taste.
